Frequently asked questions
How is this different from Confluence or Notion?
Confluence is feature-rich but heavy and slow; pricing scales fast for African teams. Notion is beautiful but standalone — your tasks live somewhere else. Prozari Docs sits inside the same workspace as your boards, sprints, OKRs, campaigns, and asset library. A doc can link directly to a card; a card carries linked docs in its rail. Plus naira-native pricing.
How does real-time editing work?
The editor uses Tiptap on top of a Y.js CRDT, persisted via Hocuspocus on the server. Every keystroke is broadcast over WebSockets to other open clients in under 50ms. Conflicts are resolved automatically — two people typing in the same paragraph never lose keystrokes.
Can I export docs to Markdown or PDF?
Yes. Markdown export ships as a download from the page menu (preserves heading levels, lists, code blocks, links). PDF export is page-print-via-browser today, with a server-rendered PDF endpoint shipping next quarter for clean watermarked exports.
Are there permissions per page?
Permissions are space-level today (private spaces visible only to invited members). Per-page ACLs are on the roadmap; for now, structure private content into a private space.
